What is NewWave's Interactive Home Security system?
This system is a home management system that not only provides home security but home automation, energy management and much more. With this system, our customers are always connected to their home, no matter where they are. • Touchscreen: Easy-to-use touchscreen that manages the system • Wireless Sensors: Wireless door/window sensors, motion detectors and other sensors that won’t require in-wall wiring and drilling during installation • Remote Management: A secure customer website and iPhone/iPad application from which you can manager your system • Video Access: Live or recorded video clips viewable through the Touchscreen, web portal and iPhone/iPad apps • Energy Management: Thermostat and lighting control • Touchscreen Apps: Apps that provide content and additional functionality through the touchscreen. Who has access to view the camera's installed in my home?
We have a secure network, only our customers have the ability to see their cameras.
What is included in the base package?
2 door sensors, 1 camera, 1 smoke detector, 1 touchscreen, 1 router, 1 window decal and 1 yard sign.
Do I have to have NewWave internet service to get the security system?
Yes
What is the difference between (Arm Stay, Arm Night and Arm Away)?
Arm Stay – There are still people in the house, there is a delay before an alarm is activated Arm Night – Everyone is going to bed, there is no delay when a door has been opened, the alarm is activated immediately. (Note: if a customer gets up in the middle of the night to let an animal out, should probably use Arm Stay) Arm Away – Everyone is leaving the house, there is a delay when re-entering the home before an alarm is activated.
How long can I record a video with my camera?
15- 20 seconds
What do I do if I have forgotten my 4 digit Passcode?

How do I manage my Interactive Home Security system online?
Will my security system work if the power goes off?
Yes the TouchScreen has a backup battery inside it that will allow the system operate in a low-power mode and communicate to all of the sensors for 24 hrs. Cameras and widgets will not be accessible in this mode.
Note: Home Security is currently available in Southern Missouri only.
