Call Forwarding
This service forwards all of your incoming calls to an alternative number, without ringing your telephone first.

1. To Activate

A. Dial *72
B. Wait for confirmation Tone, then dial the number to forward to
C. Wait for the courtesy call to be answered
D. Hang up the telephone

Note: If the courtesy call is not answered, repeat steps a. and b. to manually activate without courtesy call.

2. To Deactivate

A. Dial *73
B. Wait for confirmation Tone
C. Hang up the telephone

Call Forward Busy Line
This service forwards incoming calls to an alternative number only when your line is busy.

Call Forward Don't Answer
This service forwards incoming calls to an alternative number only if the call is not answered on your regular line.2

Remote Access to Call Forwarding
Thi service allows you to access and change your call forwarding configuration from any phone. Just follow the instructions below.

1. To Activate

A. Call 573-388-2006
B. Enter your telephone number and PIN when prompted. By default the PIN is usually the last 4 digits of the your telephone number.
C. Enter the Call Forwarding Access Code you require (for example, to access Call Forwarding, enter *72)
D. Configure the call service as for normal Call Forwarding configuration.

Caller ID Service
This service displays the Name & Number of incoming callers to your to your telephone if it has a Caller ID Display Screen or Caller ID Display Unit.

Call Transfer Disconnect
This feature allows you to transfer phone calls to another phone number.

  1. After you receive the call you want to transfer, hit the flash button on your phone.
  2. Dial the full telephone number of number you want to transfer to (area code + number)
  3. Once the phone begins to ring, you can hit flash to go ahead and transfer the call or you can wait until the line answers. Once you are ready hit flash to exit the call and hang up.

Call Return
This service allows you to return the most recent incoming call or to hear the last incoming caller's number and then optionally return the call.

1. To return the last call

A. To return the call instantly without hearing the number first, press *69.

2. To hear the number of the last caller

A. To hear the last caller's number, press *69
B. To then return to the call, press 1.
Note: To cancel all outstanding Call Return attempts, press *89

Anonymous Call Rejection
This service automatically rejects all calls from witheld numbers.

1. To enable Anonymous Call Rejection, press *77
2. To disable Anonymous Call Rejection, press *87

Three Way Calling
This service allows you to call another party during an existing call and add this party to the call, creating a three way conversation.

1. To add a third party to an active call, press the flash-hook and then dial the third party's number. If the third party answers, hit the flash-hook again to add both of you to the orginal call, connecting all three parties.

2. If the third party does not answer or their line is busy, hit the flash-hook button twice to rejoin the original call. If you hang up you wlll receive a ringback reminding you that the original call is still on hold, and can rejoin the call by picking up the phone. This service is known as Three Way Calling Ringback.

Call Waiting
This service notifies you if a second call is on the line and allows you to switch between calls. The called party is notifed by a tone when the call is waiting. The calling party receives an announcement telling them the system has alerted the called party.

1. When you hear a Call Waiting tone during a call, hit flash-hook to swap between the callers. If you hang up while a call is still on hold, you will recieve a ringback reminding you to reconnect the call.

Note: To disable call waiting for the next call only , press *70 before the call.

Call Waiting ID
This service displays the calling number and/or the calling name as part of the notification that a second call is on the line.

Seek & Speak (Simultaneous Ring)
Simultaneous Ring allows a customer to have up to 4 different phone numbers ringing at once. When the call is picked up either by yourself or voicemail the other phones stop ringing. At least one of the phone numbers musy have service provided by NewWave Communications.

Distinctive Ring Service
This service allows you to have one phone line but up to three phone numbers ringing on it. Each line has its own ring pattern so you know which number is being called and can have that party answer the phone. The available ring patterns are:

1. Long Long
2. Short Long Short
3. Short Short Long

Auto Redial
This service allows you to automatically redial the last outgoing call.


1. To activate

a. To automatically callback the last outgoing call, press *66

Note:To cancel all outstanding callback attempts, press *86

Call Trace
This service allows a customer to request a trace of the incoming call. This information is provided to the service provider (NewWave Communications), not the customer, and may then b passed on to an appropriate authority.

1. To perform a trace on the current or last call, press *57

 

Speed Calling
This service allows one-digit or two-digit codes to be used as shortcuts for selected phone numbers. You enter the code and this is interpreted as if you had dialed the phone number to which the short code is mapped.

1. Speed Calling short codes may map to:

A. Numbers in any format (such as 1+10 digits, 0 + 10 digits, 10 digits, 1 + 7 digits, 0 + 7 digits, 7 digits.

B. Any access cods (such as *70).

C. 10-10-XXX plus any o the above, for a carrier selection code.

2. To use Speed Dialing, dial the short code desired and then either dial # or wait four seconds.

3. To configure one-digit Speed dialing, press *74.

4. To configure two-digit speed Speed dialing, press *75.

5. To add a short code.

A. Dial the one-digit or two digit access code (*74 and *75 respectively).

B. A broken dial tone is played.

C. Enter the one-digit or two-digit short code, followed immediately by the number to which the short code is mapped.

D. A confirmation tone is played, then after a second of silence, the dial tone is played.

 

Selective Call Rejection (Call Blocker)
Selective Call Rejection rejects calls from up to ten unique telephone numbers. The last number received (even if you do not know what it is) can also be added to the list. Once blocked, the caller will hear a short recorded message indicating that you are not accepting telephone calls. Your telephone will not ring when a call comes in from one of the numbers on the list. To activate, dial * 60 and follow the instructions. To deactivate, dial *80 and follow the verbal instructions. (note that the instructions are the same and repeat the menu listed below)
