How NewWave Business Internet Works

NewWave Communication's Business Internet can be designed specifically for your growing business. Listed below are some typical solutions.

In order to provide Business Internet service to your business, a connection will be ran from NewWave's distribution network to your business location. Depending on your setup and needs, this connection may come in the form of coax or fiber.

With a coax connection, coax is ran to your business to a cable modem. The cable modem handles converting data from coax to ethernet and vice versa. The cable modem is then connected via an ethernet cable to your computer network. Depending on the number of computers you have, the cable modem may be connected direclty to a single computer, or if you have several it will be connected to your router or network device that handles your network.

With a fiber connection, fiberoptic cable is ran to your business to a fiber optic switch. This converts the fiberoptic signal to an ethernet connection. The fiberoptic switch is then connected via ethernet cable to your computer network. Depending on the number of computers you have, the fiber optic switch may be connected directly to a single computer, or if you have several it will be connected to your router or network device that handles your network.
