Multi-Gig internet is Sparklight’s newest, ultra-fast internet service that delivers reliably fast internet for the rapidly increasing number of connected devices in your home, next-level gaming, virtual work and school and the ability to upload large files in just seconds.

Sparklight is initially offering 3 Gbps and 6 Gbps multi-gig speeds to our residential customers in Victoria, TX. We will be rolling Multi-Gig service out across the communities we serve throughout 2024.

In Victoria, TX, and future select markets, customers should expect to see symmetrical speeds up to 3 Gbps or 6 Gbps (depending on the speed to which they’re subscribed). Speeds should be measured at the ONU as most customer equipment and browsers can't accurately read publicly available, browser-based speed tests.

The speeds of our Multi-Gig service may be greater than what today’s WiFi systems can deliver. The speeds you’ll receive vary based on the type of WiFi protocol (G/N/AC), the device being used to access the internet and the distance between the WiFi antenna and your device.
Customers on 3 Gbps and 6 Gbps Multi-Gig service will need to bring their own router and speeds are dependent on the customer’s router and compatible devices.

In areas where we provide 3 Gbps and 6 Gbps service, Sparklight will provide an ONU with a 10 Gig ethernet port. Customers will have to supply their own router that is Multi-Gig capable. Sparklight’s Support Site has the list of supported routers.
